Why Therapy?

Life can be wonderful and exciting – but at times also very challenging. Although we often find ways through life’s challenges alone or with the support from family and friends sometimes we need a neutral perspective and professional advice.

If you are visiting this page you have already taken the first step - considering asking for help.

Following are just some of the reasons clients contact me most frequently about and where I am able to provide professional advice and therapy.

  • not sleeping well

  • feeling depressed and low, sometimes for no obvious reason

  • high level of anxiety

  • panic attacks

  • feeling very uncomfortable and shy with other people or in a group

  • fear of giving presentations

  • frequently feeling overwhelmed with emotions

  • feeling stressed at work

  • grief

  • life crises

  • toxic friendships/partners

Sometimes, a few sessions are enough to set a process of change in motion – other times, a longer course of therapy might be necessary.

I try to create a warm, understanding and judgement-free space for you to share your difficulties while focussing on finding solutions you are comfortable with - so don’t hesitate to contact me if you have questions or want to book an initial appointment.
